This courses really defied our expectations. We had neglected it for many months as the title (and sales page) seemed a little sensationalist but, in reality the course was a very credible education in effective outsourcing.
The course comprises of 8 video seminars, totally about 6 hours and uses examples of how the teacher manage their own SEO business.
Out-Sourcing Vs Out-Tasking Vs In-Sourcing
Out-Sourcing is the recruiting of staff for on-going projects whereas Out-Tasking is for 1-time projects. A common problem, and one we’ve faced ourselves is where we’ve out-sourced staff and then struggled to provide them with continued work once they complete the bulk of their duties.
In-Sourcing is where a staff member is hired directly for the long-term and is encouraged to develop the business and to strive for promotions, pay rises and more responsibilities. They become a team-member.
We’ve stumbled on this recruitment method by chance already. The idea is to implement strict filters at the first phases of the hiring process to eliminate applicants who don’t care to follow instructions or who send the same insincere job applicant letters. We’ll cover some strategies we’ve used successfully in future posts.
Different interviewing methods were discussed briefly although most were systems we implement already.
